Urban space and housing

Between the buildings, there are vibrant natural gardens with an abundance of vegetation. They create thoroughfares and connecting paths across the blocks, facilitating access to the buildings from both the south and the north. The ample space between each housing unit forms the foundation of a housing complex with outdoor spaces and abundant daylight.

The homes

On the ground floor, there are private gardens with direct access from the flats. The gardens are underpinned by beech hedges, perfect for spending time outdoors with views of the beautiful, green communal garden. On the main arrival side, the ground floor is raised one metre above the ground to ensure maximum privacy. The homes feature central cores. Around these, there are rooms and large, south-facing living area. In connection with the core, two sliding elements facilitate different uses of the space. The dwellings have south-facing balconies, which extend across the entire length of the living rooms.

Materiality

White-rendered façades form the basic structure of the residential wings. The balcony framework helps express the verticality of the dwellings. The steel framework with timber sections adds a warm, welcoming expression to the development.
