Flintholm Company House I

Flintholm Company House 1 is a 25,000m2 office and retail building at Flintholm Station. The building makes optimum use of its location near the Station, respecting, and contributing to the existing environment of the new ‘Revykvarter’ district in Frederiksberg.

The west end wall provides a generous gateway to the district from Flintholm Station, a hub for Metro, buses, and S-trains. With retail and commercial premises on the ground floor on Dirch Passers Allé, Flintholm Company House 1 has a real urban feel to it. Copenhagen Business School (CBS) has leased the outward-oriented western section, and the student life invests the development with a vibrant, pulsating atmosphere.

The building’s northern façade features great variety with niches and protrusions that relate to the expression of the surrounding buildings. The overall layout, with the distinctive green courtyards facing the Metro line, ensures that the building also looks attractive to passing train passengers.

The result is a beautifully integrated office building built for a low square-metre price.  There are excellent, extremely flexible facilities on all floors, bound together merely by simple, solid cores. Generally, the leased office premises are punctuated by lounge zones with a kitchenette, and zones for informal meetings and breaks.

In a spectacular room, the main, sophisticated steel staircase runs from floor to ceiling up through all of the building’s six storeys. Flintholm Company House 1 features a central meeting centre, reception, and canteen that service both the building’s tenants and external customers.

Flintholm Company House 1 makes an architectural and functional contribution to life in the area, providing the finishing touch to the image of Frederiksberg’s new district.

Flintholm Company House 1 was executed in accordance with the EU Green Building standard, ensuring that the project complies with current sustainability requirements.
