METRO STATION, COPENHAGEN AIRPORT

The new metro station is designed by VLA.
The metro station will be integrated in Copenhagen Airport’s parking structure immediately to the north of Terminal 3’s apex.
A traffic hub will thus be built into the same structure with connections to Terminal 3, Ellehammersvej, Hilton and the future commercial and hotel construction in the northern area.
The Metro at Copenhagen Airport is placed as the extension of Terminal 3’s longitudinal axis with skylights along the same axis.
The skylights of the Metro Station are formed differently than those in Terminal 3, but they will have the same effect – the daylight will lead the passenger.
