ISHØJ STATION

In connection with the renewal of Ishøj Station and the modernizing of Ishøj Town Centre, VLA has, in collaboration with Ishøj Municipality and Steen & Strøm A/S, completed the project for DSB S-Tog A/S for an extension of the station and centre to create a significant and better connection between the two in the form of a station square.

The station serves about 16,000 passengers per day and contains a waiting-room as well as a Kort & Godt kiosk, and a tourist bureau for Ishøj Municipality in connection with the station square. The goal has been to make the station more transparent, light and safe.
