KEFLAVIK AIRPORT, ICELAND

We have attempted in this project to create a logical layout of the new terminal functions which will reflect the future passenger flow in a striking building in a single complete building volume.
The project provides the optimum view to the runways for passengers and airport personnel alike.
We have used daylight as an important element in the spatial experience of the building. The roof of the terminal rests with its bowed forms over the heavy base like clouds over the marked landscape.
