The stadium maintains the essential qualities of the original building while transforming into an ICON befitting the world’s leading football club.

The stadium is wrapped by a new element which screens the existing facades and covers a majority of the seating. This element is more than a screen – it functions as stairs and incorporates lounges at varying levels which offer views out across the city and to the surrounding landscape.
