THE SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE
In 1997, the School of Architecture under the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts was opened after being moved to Holmen, a former naval station. The project is the result of a turnkey consulting competition won by the architectural firm.
The listed buildings (warehouses, forges, etc.) were carefully restored and fitted out as classrooms, auditoriums, workshops and administration facilities.
The rebuilding and restoration project was awarded a prize by the Municipality of Copenhagen for beautiful restoration and rebuilding.
