TIANFU SOFTWARE PARK, CHENGDU, CHINA

VLA was awarded second prize in the international competition for Tianfu Software Park in China.

The overall architectural concept behind the project, is that the architecture reflects a synthesis between the programmes high-tech theme and the characteristic features of the Chinese landscape. The building forms make reference to the Chinese landscape while the façade details are inspired by high-tech patterns. The projects landmark which is located in the south-west, comprises a 100 meter tall office building that acts as a portal gateway for the whole of the Chengdu Hi Tech Industrial Development Zone.
