NACHUAN ATHLETICS PARK, CHINA

VLA participated in collaboration with local companies in the competition for an athletics park in Nachuan – a town in south-west China.

The project comprised the designing of a master plan for the complete sports facility with sports hall, stadium, tennis and commercial facilities as well as presenting a design proposal for the sports hall. VLA’s proposal was based on the desire to utilize the hilly topography of the property as well as the view to the river and the nearby mountains.
