RADIO HOUSE

In 1934, Architect Vilhelm Lauritzen was commissioned to design a new building for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. The Radio House in Frederiksberg was inaugurated in 1945 and since then VLA has undertaken new building work, conversions and renovation work up to 1998. The Radio House became listed in the middle of the 1990s by the Environmental Ministry and all major conversion, renovation and maintenance work undertaken since then has been subject to approval by the Cultural Heritage Commission.
