TOWER BLOCKS, TUBORG SOUTH

In conjunction with the expansion of Tuborg South, VLA is designing the latest office buildings along Dessau Boulevard as three prominent six floor tower blocks with penthouses.

Individual approaches to each building and displacing the carcass and base of each building results in an individual shape adaptable to the interior design wishes of each tenant.

Unity is maintained through consistent facade work and choice of materials. The shaping of the parapets forms a rhythm creating a special identity and spatial experience indoors and outdoors, while the ribbon of windows ensures an unimpeded view and good daylight for every work station.

Drawing the penthouse floor across the roof and making the base jut out beneath the building creates a powerful architectural expressiveness while enabling roof patios to be established on multi levels.
