EGERNSUND TEGL

VLA’s proposal for the new headquarters for Egernsund Tegl was evolved from its physical location and the nature of the terrain.

We want to create interesting, innovative architecture that makes a prominent statement in the landscape, showing Egernsund Tegl as the dynamic company that it is.

The building is composed around a single wall that follows the rectangular shape of the site, looping around beside the motorway to form a framework for the new headquarters themselves. The outer wall screens the main entrance and central services from traffic noise.

Putting the building high on the hill also ensures excellent visibility from the motorway and gives the company the best possible exposure.
