BIOGEN IDEC

VLA was chosen as architect for the new Biogen Idec facility in Hillerød.

Biogen Idec is the world’s third largest biotech company. The current project includes administration, laboratories as well as production and supply buildings – and was ready in 2006.

VLA was also responsible for the master plan which organizes the 246,000 m² site for the facility’s first phases as well as future extensions of the production buildings, administration and research facilities taking into account the process and technical requirements for the landscape as well as the view of Frederiksborg Castle.
