GARNISON PARK, FARUM

VLA won first prize in the competition for placing 250 residential units on the former Farum Barracks area with great consideration for the landscape and the view to the forest towards the west.

Car parking, community room, technique, etc. are placed under the units on the ground floor so that the buildings have a floating appearance.

The architecture creates a lively building, reflecting activity, simplicity and functionality in its structure. The façade has many different projections including balconies and terraces which together give a building composition with many facets.
