This residential project is based on the vision of an attractive, lively residential milieu, innovative and feasible in appearance, expressed in a timeless architectural idiom.

The desire is to create homes that emphasise energy and environmental considerations in a long-term sustainable perspective.

Architecturally the proposal is faithful to its origins in the simple beauty of the Nordic housing tradition with its human scale and living frontage that means it remains among the most attractive types of dwelling.

Throughout the day the light will capture the individual surfaces with the varied balconies, revealing a multifaceted constructional composition.

The project provides 49 social housing units totalling some 5000 square metres of floor space.

VLA won the competition for this project in collaboration with Sjælsø and Lejerbo.
