VLA is designing a 64 000 square metre residential project as part of Spark New City,a major urban plan forming on the outskirts of Bratislava.

The dwellings will be U-shaped designs with inner courtyards. Between the building corpus there will be green wedges with tall grass and ponds. The background affords views of beautiful mountain scenery.
The residential blocks will be from three to seven storeys tall, creating a lively landscape concluding with the tallest frontage facing onto the forthcoming shopping street.

The dwellings themselves will attract a wide cross-section of the population in the Bratislava area, and so they vary from small 35 square metre studio flatlets to large apartments of between 150 and 200 square metres.
