HAVNEHOLMEN, COPENHAGEN

Havneholmen is one of the most well-situated construction sites in Copenhagen.
Its waterfront location provides a fine view of the busy harbour entrance, small docks, canals and the centre of the city. The housing units have been given the optimal alignment in relation to the sun.

The buildings are positioned in a fan shape to ensure that all units are facing the water and all living rooms face south-west.
The fan shape results in a friendly, inviting building complex. The open, sunny courtyard between the buildings provides the first impression on arrival to the residential area.

All housing units are filled with daylight and have at least two large balconies or patios on either side of the buildings. This makes it possible to sit in a sunny area from morning to late evening.
