VLA in collaboration with Wuttke & Ringhof Architects, has won a competition for a new residential area in Rostock's old town centre.

The residential development situated between the city wall and Warnow, will range with its significant expression meet a variety of demands and sizes from two-storey town houses with roof terraces to roof studio apartments.

A unanimous panel of judges describe the winning proposal as architecture of very high quality with an outstanding layout that will form the basis for development of the future sustainable residential area.

Project design work of the new residential development totalling 11.000 m2 in area, will begin in August 2012.
