Since 2002 the Architectural Review has put on the Future Project Awards in cooperation with the fair. One winner and two commended projects are selected in eight different categories. The Niels Bohr Science Park was selected for commendation on the ‘Big Urban Projects’ category.
Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter have received accolades at MIPIM before: in 2008 for the Regimentsparken housing estate in Farum, Denmark, and in 2002 for the relocation of the Vilhelm Lauritzen Terminal at Copenhagen Airport.
