VLA was awarded second prize in the international competition for Tianfu Software Park in China. The overall architectural concept behind the project, is that the architecture reflects a synthesis between the programmes high-tech theme and the characteristic features of the Chinese landscape.

The building forms make reference to the Chinese landscape while the façade details are inspired by high-tech patterns. The projects landmark which is located in the south-west, comprises a 100 meter tall office building that acts as a portal gateway for the whole of the Chengdu Hi Tech Industrial Development Zone.
